Commercial Electric Work
This was a commercial electric job we completed on November 25, 2013. This customer, Gerresheimer Peachtree City (USA) L.P., Technical Competence Center of Peachtree City, was expanding operations and they needed commercial electric work done. The Technical Competence Center operates an in-house mold service, a mold trial department with several injection molding machines, an analysis laboratory and a multi-functional laboratory.
Commercial Electric Job Description
We did one small job for the warehouse manager. He was impressed with our speed and professionalism. Because of our initial performance, we were selected to execute a more difficult task. He was very pleased. Preparing the space included supplying 3 phase power for charging their forklifts. Additionally they needed 120 volt receptacles at key areas for powering zebra-printer.
In order to fulfill their needs, we assessed their existing electrical panels and presented an electrical plan for relocating power to meet their growing needs. The forklifts required 480 volt 3 phase power to support the charges. We ran new conduit and used color-coded wire to supply the appropriated power requirements. The new 3 phase receptacles were anchored to the concrete walls with Tapcons.

The single phase power was also run in conduit and located at strategic locations in the warehouse to facilitate the use of high tech labeling for electronic tracking. The work functioned and appeared excellent. The finished product looked perfect. The warehouse manager was very pleased with our services. John Donaldson’s PowerWorks Electric was one of only two contractors that finished the work ahead of schedule.
We took about 15 hours to complete this job. The client needed to have the warehouse operational within 72 hours and we were able to meet their deadline. We left the clients extremely happy with the results of this job.
